Scope and Contents
Three subscription books (1877-1913), two letters, a typewritten draft of an article reporting on a track meet (circa 1944), and photographs. The archives also holds bound volumes of the magazine and maintains a digital collection of issues, 1867-2011.
The Scholastic photograph collection dates from the 1960s and is an ongoing collection. The formats range from prints, negatives, slides, and digital. The Archivist noted in the finding aid when a particular image was published, if known.

Biographical / Historical
Scholastic Magazine is the University of Notre Dame's student magazine. It aims to offer the Notre Dame community insight into campus news, events and issues, while simultaneously providing entertainment and humor. First published in 1867, Scholastic is the nation's longest running collegiate publication.
