Records of the Carmelite Sisters of Indianapolis, dating from the 1920s through the early 2000s, consisting of documents on their early history, chronicles and chronicle briefs, yearly files, house files, files on other Carmels they founded, correspondence, business and financial files (concerning typesetting, the Psalter, Scripture readings, and construction, furnishing, and maintenance of the monastery); files on sisters living and deceased, on former members, on women who have lived with the sisters, on resource people, friends, and family of the sisters; on interaction with the hierarchy, national and international meetings, Carmelite Communities Associated, U.S. Carmels, foreign Carmels, the Carmelite Fathers, and Carmelite federation; with books, periodicals and other publications, and artifacts representing their way of life.
