Scope and Content

Books collected by Bernard Lange, CSC, in English and German, many of them illustrated, concerning sex, sexual practices of various cultures, sexual hygiene, sexual magic, sex in the future, sexual mores, sexual perversions, sexual power, exercise, the human body, nudism, women, and children. One oil portrait of Lange in a cap and gown. Three body-building and weight-lifting plaques representing awards carved by Father Lange for Robert Aboczky, when he was a student at Notre Dame in the 1950s; and photocopies of two photographs showing Lange, Aboczky, and other students in the weight room; also other photographs. One weight-lifting belt.
