Background
The Liturgical Conference was founded in 1940 as the Benedictine Liturgical Conference. As the Conference grew it changed its name to The Liturgical Conference to reflect the increased interest of all Catholics and Christians of other denominations. The Conference is best known as a Sponsor of National Liturgical Weeks and by its publications, including Liturgy, Homily Service, and Living Worship.
