Botany tracts (1830s-1900s) collected and bound by Fr Nieuwland in 97 numbered volumes some of which are missing. The individual pamphlets, periodicals, articles, reports, and papers in these have been cataloged and can be found through Notre Dame's library catalog. Chiefly English, many German and French, some other languages. Topics extend to anything of interest to a turn-of-the-century naturalist (e.g., birds, geology, agriculture).
