Correspondence: thirty-three of the first thirty-five letters are from Francis McKay, agent, about accounts presumably at Nazareth. These letters were to the Sisters of Charity. The next approximately sixty letters are from lay people to the sisters, mostly about their daughters who were apparently attending Nazareth Academy, and their daughters' accounts. Many of the approximately fifty remaining letters are... from bishops, such as McCloskey, Rosecrans, Spalding and Fitzgerald, to mother superiors about Nazareth and the Sisters of Charity.
