Correspondence deals with and includes: Pat McCartney's request for a position that would allow him to be with his family; some personal letters from fellow workers bringing McCartney "up-to-date" since his discharge from the Army; organizational reports of McCartney's union activities in the state of Nebraska; a labor-management conference in Nebraska; McCartney's unexpected transfer from Nebraska to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; civil suit concerning the "Anti-Closed Shop Amendment."
