Correspondence deals with and includes: campaign letters and handbills; Communist Party membership books; Pat McCartney's trial on "conduct unbecoming a Union man" before the UAWA Plymouth Local #51 Trial Board; copy of a subpeona issued to McCartney to appear before the House of Representatives' Special Committee on Un-American Activities. Correspondents include: E.J. Lambert, recording secretary with the United Automobile Workers of America (UAWA); Pete McGavin; Francis A.
