Having received no interest on the 27,000 francs, she was about to write when Father Lagrange arrived with assuring news that she would soon be paid. Her health is very bad and she is very old. Her work of the Sisters' school is of great importance and this sum is in her will. Lagrange tells her that new instructions from Propaganda give Leray more latitude.
