Scope and Contents
In compliance with Leray's request last Thursday, Harnais sends the required statement. Against the known prohibition of the Archbishop, Sister Mary of St. Francis. M.H.C. had a fair given for the benefit of her academy. Each night was concluded with dances. Sister knew that she was giving scandal to the Catholics for they also are aware that round dances, waltzes, and polkas are forbidden by the Church. Harnais has asked the Archbishop and the Provincial of the Sisters to recall Sister St. Francis immediately. :: VI-3-d A.L.S. 2pp. 4to.
