Scope and Contents
Despite his ardent desire to return to the diocese, the infirmity of his throat obliges him to prolong his stay in France. It will be a very great sadness for him if he must abandon it forever. He will never forget what he owes the diocese which raised him. If he can be useful in any way that does not involve preaching or singing, he will be glad to return sooner. He asks him to convey his regrets to the Archbishop. He also sends his best wishes to Father Adrien Rouquette and to Father Theophile Blancgarin :: VI-3-b A.L.S. French 12mo. 4pp.
