Scope and Contents

Langevin has recently learned that Perché had placed one of his former priests Father F.X. Guay at Marksville as pastor. This priest has given great scandal in the past. After a long probationary period, Langevin decided to place him as an assistant at Bré. However, as he showed a medical certificate prescribing a stay in a milder climate, Langevin reluctantly permitted him to go to the United States a little more than a year ago. Since then, Langevin has been told, he has been in two or three dioceses and last November he had given great scandal in Green Bay. The Vicar general of that place furnished him with that information. Perché will probably hear from him directly before long. He should be watched very closely. All this is strictly confidential A.L.S. French 3pp. 12mo. :: VI-3-b A.L.S. French 4pp. 12mo.
