Goeggel reminds Perché of his promise made during his stay at Paris. Their brother, Charles Justin Goeggel died of yellow fever at New Orleans on August 9, 1878 as éon Hude, employed at Mr. Mallard 's, the upholsterer?, informed them. They have vainly tried to get a death certificate. Father Hyacinthe Claude Mignot searched the register but found nothing. Goeggel asks Perché to have a declaration by two witnesses drawn up. :: VI-3-a A.L.S. French 2pp. 4to.
