Scope and Contents
Although deprived of a regular pastor and church privileges, being included in the Shreveport Mission, she and a local group of Catholics have outfitted a room wherein they may meet and worship God. Bishop Auguste Marie Martin gave them many things. Their funds have run out, however, and they still find themselves in need of a statue of the Blessed Virgin and a monstrance for exposition.
