A circumstance which could have very happy results for the education of the youth of the parish is the acceptance of Poydras College Pointe Coupé . From last Monday to Saturday, the 26th, the directors of the college have offered it to anyone who presents himself. Mr. Eckelare? is the director of this committee. If Odin would accept it with a view to placing Brothers there what a great service it would be. The Brothers of the Christian Schools would do an immense good. There are funds for repairs and as the direction is offered for seven years there would be time to become well known. The Poydras fund leaves a sum each year in favor of a certain number of poor.
