Being unable to go the Thibodaux to look for the paper Odin asked for, he wrote to Father Charles M. Ménard to do so. His reply was that he had visited the Parish Record Office to find the deed of concession of the title of the corporation of St. Mary's, that it was not found and that they will have to apply to Baton Rouge.
