Scope and Contents

Furlong is a Catholic and hopes to be the instrument of the conversion of a Protestant family. The eldest daughter wishes to go to the best convent school in New Orleans; she has expressed her desire to join the Church and has met no opposition. The family is reduced by the war and banished from Missouri. The Church improves here and she thinks prejudice gives way. :: VI-2-i A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
