He wrote recently to Father Napoleon Joseph Perché to ask if a trip to New Orleans would be agreeable to Odin. The object of the trip would be to go find his books and trunks. He has received no reply from Perché. Vacation time here at the Seminary would be a good time to go. He is not coming to ask to return to the diocese of New Orleans. The reasons, serious or foolish, for which he left, no doubt still exist. He accomplished his duty and when his resources ran out he left. He would not want to cause the least trouble; if his trip would annoy Odin Berthaud would give it up. :: VI-2-i A.L.S. French 4pp. 12mo.
