Scope and Contents

O'Reilly has just learned that there is hope that a letter can reach New Orleans. He is happy and well. So is Archbishop Peter Richard Kenrick of St. Louis whom he had the pleasure of seeing a few days ago. He has been uneasy about Odin and about Texas, and he desires to hear from him. His niece, Rose, is well and lives with a relative of his in St. Louis. He wonders how James P. Nash, Father Louis C.M. Chambodut, and Father Michael Shehan are. As soon as all things are set in order, he hopes to go to see Odin. :: VI-2-f A.L.S. 1p. 4to.
