Before leaving, Father Auguste S. Paris told her everything was arranged for Father Eleazar Vignonet to say Mass. He did not come on Friday. On Saturday he wrote a note which she answered saying that they were grateful for his kindness, etc. He said Mass on Sunday after which he wrote her the enclosed letter. She did not answer it but wrote an invitation so he came for benediction. The Religious of the Sacred Heart never did anything with the intention of displeasing Vignonet. ` P.S.
