Beccard was about to leave for his mission at Field Lake last Friday when he heard rumors of Bishop Anthony Blanc's death. Today, he received the news, but due to his heavy workload and strange sickness he is not able to get to Blanc's funeral. He hopes to see Rousselon shortly in order to obtain a testimonial in case Rousselon has to leave the diocese as a result of a new bishop taking over, or in case he is not able to live through this cancer which is eating away his moral life. :: VI-2-c A.L.S.
