Lefranc's brother Father J.M. Lefranc died Monday, July 4, after an agonizing sickness of 24 hours. Sunday at 7 A.M., Father Lefranc felt ill and decided to say Mass at his brother's home rather than go to Lake Charles as he did every Sunday.
