Blanc's letter of May 25 is at hand. She cannot tell the thanks she feels for his interest. Her whole life has been a protest against Catholic truth but God has irradiated the approaching twilight of her life with grace and light which causes a remorse not only for her own loss but for the instilling of Protestantism in to the minds of her children. Beaumont has determined to leave her home here to seek instruction amid Catholic association. She must rely upon her own efforts, to follow her own ideas of duty. More than a year ago the principal of a southern school asked her services as Lady Matron in an educational establishment in Clarksville, Tennessee.
