It has been reported to the Congregation of the Propagation of the Faith that some priests carry the Eucharist with them every day because if they were called to minister the Viaticum they would be too far from the church. This abuse is completely at variance with the practice of the Church. Barnabò inquires whether and in what dioceses this abuse exists. Archbishop Cajetan Bedini signs as secretary. :: VI-1-n L.S.
