Scope and Contents
Father Peter McLaughlin has shown Bacon a letter stating that Blanc will countenance his visit to collect for his poor mission in Bath. Thanking Blanc for this kind offer, Bacon permits McLaughlin to avail himself of it. His embarrassments are the result of the pressure of the times.
