People are going to church less often and in smaller numbers, because Father J A Poyet 's relations with the parishoners show little tact or understanding, as well as duplicity. This man has destroyed all semblance of relations between himself and his flock. The people are at the end of their patience and issue an impassioned plea to Blanc. They hope that he can solve this problem.
