Cénas, Father Francis J., New Orleans, Louisiana, to Archbishop Anthony Blanc, New Orleans, Louisiana, 1855 November 29?
Scope and Contents
Some days ago, Cénas received a letter from his brother, M.L.? Cénas , in which the attached, addressed to Blanc was enclosed. From what he wrote, Cénas supposes that he spoke to Blanc about him and expressed his desire to see him soon. Cénas and all his family share this desire especially because of his mother who has been ill for some time. With Blanc's consent it could be satisfied next spring. Although he is better after the end of the heat, Cénas needs rest. He asks Blanc to come to confirm the children on the day of First Communion which will be December 13. No doubt some ruling will come from Blanc about the Mass for the feast of the Immaculate Conception. A.L.S. French Enclosure:
