Scope and Contents
Comte asks a favor for a poor widow. Cyrille Michon of Montreal, who lived for some years at New Orleans, is said to have died last June. His mother, Widow Herse, has heard this news; it was her only son. Comte asks for information about this rumor. It would be a great consolation for this mother to learn that her son died a good Christian.
