Scope and Contents
Some time ago, Chalon sent a bill of lading for a barrel of Beaujolais wine consigned to Rousselon which was sent from Havre on board the American ship Baden, Captain Stilphen . Chalon sees by the newspapers that the ship consigned to Messrs. Baxter, Lovell and Company arrived at New Orleans 2 weeks ago. When Rousselon can get this wine out of customs he is to send it to Louis Guéringer at Mobile. Chalon has not received a bill; Rousselon is to pay and Chalon will reimburse him. :: VI-1-i A.L.S.
