Scope and Contents

Following Gilly's order on his last trip to Barcelonnette, Donnadieu has furnished bread to Gilly's mother, as well as to his brother and sister. He has received nothing. With all good will, they cannot pay as they are very poor. He will continue to supply them until he hears from Gilly which he believes should be around January 15 at the latest. The bill amounts to more than 600 francs. To avoid any trouble or even a lawsuit, Donnadieu asks Gilly to pay at least half. Gilly can send orders on London, Paris, or Lyons.
