Long is desirous of placing her youngest daughter at the Ursuline Convent below New Orleans. Having understood that a permit from Blanc is necessary to visit the institution the asks for the privilege. She wishes to place her daughter there by the first of next month and to allow her to remain for some years, at least until she makes her First Communion. She is ten years old.
