Some days ago, being in Galveston, Lacour showed Bishop John Mary Odin the impossibility of building a church at Liberty unless he found help elsewhere. Odin advised him to take a trip to Louisiana to ask for help. Although Lacour does not think Blanc will oppose it, he asks for permission to leave. He proposes to leave toward the end of May if Blanc's reply is favorable. As he is to make the trip by land, he will visit the Catholics of Calentior ?. :: VI-1-g A.L.S. French 1p. 4to.
