Scope and Contents

Faure had scarcely arrived in Galveston when Louisa, Bishop Odin's servant, asked if he had brought the barrel of apples. She was very unhappy at not seeing them arrive with him. She said they were hers, that she had asked Father John? Lynch, C.M. ? for them and he had promised them to her. Faure asks Rousselon to send this barrel. Faure profits by this occasion to wish Rousselon a happy New Year and to thank him for the many marks of affection shown him on his way through New Orleans. :: VI-1-g A.L.S. French 2pp. 12mo.
