Edwards, William, Assumption Seminary, Louisiana, to Father Etienne Rousselon, New Orleans, Louisiana, 1853 July 19
Item
Identifier: CANO VI-1-f
Scope and Contents
The Superior has said that he would not allow Edwards to leave without the permission of the Archbishop or Rousselon. The reason is the yellow fever in the city. But that is no reason for Edwards and M.Lyons as they would be in the city only 6 hours or a day. They want to get their diplomas from the Jesuits at Mobile. As soon as they arrive, they will leave for the college. :: VI-1-f A.L.S. French 2pp. 4to.
