Scope and Contents
Blanc would do well to take steps to have the land occupied by Madame Goujon . The longer he waits, the more it will cost. It is feared they might establish a cabaret there; the poor priest would become a real martyr. He has already suffered enough. If Blanc decides to buy he is to write at once to égre Darby to to act. Father Julian Priour had already sold his little mulatto boy to a workman in order to build a house on the land Laclaire Fuseiller gave him to have a school for the children. :: VI-1-a A.L.S.
