Scope and Contents
Achard wrote last April about Alphonse Faure of Lyons who was recommended by Mr. Clemencon, Rousselon's friend. Achard also wrote the Consul; today he received a letter from him saying that he could learn nothing of what had become of Faure. In his anxiety and that of Faure's nother, whose letter Achard sent Rousselon, Achard asks Rousselon's help. He believes Faure must be dead. P.S.
