Scope and Contents

Chambost is sorry not to be able to get to New Orleans to express his gratitude to Rousselon for all his kindnesses and his letter. He will work at English more than ever since he is beginning to like it and since Father Louis Parody, C.M. teaches it so devotedly. Parody has procured for him, as he has for all the sick, delicacies which are not found in European seminaries. A few of the seminarians complain but they do not trouble Father J.M. Masnou, C.M. Masenou. Cornelius Moynihan? is a famous sower of discord; if the grace of orders does not change his heart his pastor will weep. Chambost still has two treatises of theology to do; he would like a few days before his subdiaconate to prepare himself. :: V-5-i A.L.S. French 3pp. 4to.
