Mouret received Blanc's letter of October 25 written in reply to the one in which Mouret offered his services to Blanc. Perhaps some other circumstance will later permit Blanc to find some work for him. Having studied English for several years, Mouret can hear Confessions in the language, read the gospel and speak a little.
