Scope and Contents

Blin arrived at Charenton a few days after the last day of last month. His labors are proceeding slowly because of their lack of resources. He awaits Blanc's presence to arrange everything. He has promised to go on a mission the week following Quasimodo Sunday, in a locality where they have never seen a priest. He has the Bernard house at his disposal until the presbytery is built, and he will procure a carriage to take Blanc to New Iberia. He awaits Blanc's orders, not by mail, which is dead, but by steamboat which will bring the letter to Mr. Ferrey, Anse Sauvage. :: V-5-g A.L.S. French 3pp. 4to.
