Being named as members of a committee at a meeting of the trustees of St. John Baptist Church on August 23, they inform Blanc that the repairs he deemed necessary to the church and presbytery are now completed. The walls of the church have been plastered; the outside has been refinished. A kitchen and stable have been built; everything is ready for a priest whom they dare hope Blanc will send to live among them.
