Scope and Contents

Resolved that a fair be held immediately following the fair of the Agricultural Society to exhibit the work of the ladies and any others who wish to contribute. The proceeds will be used for the most pressing needs, especially the cemetery. A corresponding committee is to have charge of inviting the ladies of West Baton Rouge to participate, of writing to the Bishop and Sisters of New Orleans, St. James, and Grand Coteau. The articles are to be sent to Mrs. Menard, treasurer. Meetings are to be held the first and third Thursday of the month until the time of the fair. Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Sherburne and Miss Aurore Hicky are named the correspondence committee. :: V-5-e A.L.S. French 4pp. 4to.
