Beauprez has just received Blanc's letter of the 7th in which Blanc informs him that his replacement is coming on May 1. Blanc will recall that Beauprez wrote 3 or 4 months ago that he planned to leave June 1, as arranged with his trustees, and that he had several important affairs to attend to.
