He has made arrangements with his employers by getting another young Catholic man to take his place. He is now entirely at liberty. He asks Blanc to afford him an opportunity to enter the ecclesiastical state. He would like to learn this before Blanc starts north because he is informed that after the Council Blanc has designed paying a visit to Europe.
