Will Blanc go to the Council by Mobile and Charleston or up the river. If they go up the river it would be well to go on the "Magnolia", Captain Thomasson. It will leave New Orleans April 24 for Louisville. If Thomasson is not in New Orleans, Blanc should see Mr. Shute and secure staterooms. Perhaps Bishop Michael Portier would go with them.
