Odin arrived at Houston and has received Blanc's letter. He thanks Blanc for his good advice in regard to Father Ogé ; Odin expects him any day. A Protestant woman whose husband was killed has 2 small children; she wishes to place them in an asylum. Could Blanc have them admitted to the Sisters' asylum? The mother wants to have them brought up in the Catholic religion. If Father John Timon is still in Louisiana, will Blanc give him the enclosed letter?
