Scope and Contents

They are addressing a request which several have made already in separate conversations. They propose Father Joseph Billon as pastor of their church. In his short stay among them he has won their esteem and confidence. The rent of pews does not go over 250 piastres and the fees do not go over that but they believe they might be larger with a permanent pastor. Even the minority who speak English would not exclude him because he does not know that language.
