Eaton, Reverend Arthur W(entworth) H(amilton): Newport, R(hode I(sland) to Monsignor (Robert Seton: Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1894 August 10
Item
Identifier: CSET II-1-d
Scope and Contents
He thanks (Seton) for the clipping and would like a spare copy if he has one. If (Seton) ever stayed in Newport he would hate an aristocracy of money worse than he now does. Everything is a huge vulgar glittering soap bubble. He is of course having a good time and his friends are most kind to him and he is under no restraint. He leaves for Nova Scotia in September and will be glad to leave Newport. He asks (Seton) to send him Louis (Sands)' address.
