Young received Seton's letter of the 9th and on looking over the baptismal register he finds in Seton's handwriting: "The 28th day of July, 1871, Seton with the consent of Young baptized John Foster Seton , the son of Henry Seton and and Ann Foster Seton born June 16. Sponsors John Gray Foster and Elizabeth Seton, both of whom were represented by "proxies."
