Fitte, C.S.C., Father Stanislaus F., Buffali, New York to James F. Edwards, 1903 December 28
Scope and Contents
He has unexpectedly to run to Buffalo on business but leaves for Canton tomorrow. He supposes Edwards keeps busy at the work he has been so zealously doing for Notre Dame and the future historian of the Catholic Church. Edwards' reward will be the greater for not being spoiled by compliments. He asks that Edwards gives his regards to good, unselfish Major Henry Brownson. They had a grand banquet in the college on St. John's Day and the Provincial Father John A. Zahm, C.S.C. poured out an effusion of kind feelings so as to astonish everybody, except those who know him. :: XI-2-f A.L.S. 2pp.
