Harson, M.J., Providence, Rhode Island to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1903 June 12
Scope and Contents
He was deeply touched by Edwards' kind words of sympathy and the prayers of Notre Dame for the respose of the soul of his dear wife. In the hour of sorrow nothing else satisfies the yearnings of the heart as the consolations which religion brings. He was pleased with the selection of Charles J. Bonaparte for the Laetare Medal. He is trying to arrange for the unveiling of Brownson Monument in the fall. He intends to suggest that the centenary of Brownson Sept. 16th be observed throughout the country. :: XI-2-f A.L.S. 4pp.
